Delete IE Cache
The Temporary Internet Files folder is the location on your hard disk where Web
pages and files (such as graphics) are stored as you surf the net. This speeds
up the display of pages you frequently visit or have already seen, because
Internet Explorer can open them from your hard disk instead of from the Web.
However, with time, the number and size of these files will grow, slowing down
your system.
Check this box to clear these internet files.
- Delete IE cookies
Some Web sites store information in a small text file, called a "cookie," on
your hard disk. Cookies contain information about you and your preferences. Or
it might only contain a record of which pages within the site you visited, to
help the site customize the view for you the next time you visit.
Only the information that you provide, or the choices you make while visiting a
Web site, can be stored in a cookie. Allowing a Web site to create a cookie does
not give that or any other site access to the rest of your computer, and only
the site that created the cookie can read it. Internet Explorer is set up to
allow the creation of cookies by default.
Since some cookies are useful, you may want to keep them. Click 'Manage
Cookies' to select the cookies you need
to keep. All the unmarked ones will be deleted.
